It’s one of the most popular nights of the year to go out in Denver, and although it may be quite a ways away, it’s never too early to plan your Halloween night. That’s right folks, you better start thinking about what your Halloween night in Denver will consist of, because if you start procrastinating like last year, you’ll find yourself aimlessly wandering the streets of Denver with no clue, and absolutely no fun. This year one of the most talked about parties isn’t taking place at a swanky club, a crowded bar, or a chic lounge – it’s at an entertainment venue that packs the best of each of those types of venues, with one big plus – bowling!

This Halloween, the most talked about party is taking place at Lucky Strike in Denver, for their “Mile High Nightmare” party. Featuring a cash bar and a live DJ serving up the best in dance, hip hop, and pop, there’s no end to the entertainment that will be served up at this party. This is strictly a costumed event, so be sure not to be “that guy” that shows up without a costume. Taking place on Saturday, October 27th, this event will definitely be on everyone’s radar in Denver. Be sure to get your tickets while you still can because this will sell out!

One Response to The Nightmare At Lucky Strike

My name is Ray Villafane and I am the Lead Sculptor for Villafane Studios. My day job started as making high end collectibles for the likes of DC Comics, Marvel and McFarlane Toys to name a few but has since evolved to being famously known for my pumpkins and sand sculptures. You may have seen some of my work, whether it was through a viral email, in print or on television. I’ve been the Champion twice on the Food Network’s Challenge Show “Outrageous Pumpkins” and was featured in the first season of the mini-series, Halloween Wars. I’ve been fortunate to gather a global following of my work which has lead to personally carving for Heidi Klum’s Annual Halloween Party, sculpting zombies out of the World Record Pumpkin at New York City’s Botanical Gardens and being a guest pumpkin carver at the White House. 2011 was my first year of appearances centered around my pumpkin carvings and I was booked the entire month of October. I am also under Contract with the New York Botanical Gardens and the City of New York in which my pumpkin carvings will be the premise of an annual event for the next several years in New York City. I haven’t had to make much effort to get my work across the globe but now that its reached that far, I’m excited to keep it going. Due to the increased popularity of my work, I have now assembled a phenomenal team of artisans who are of the same caliber of artist that I am. In the fall of 2012 we drew record attendance to New York Botanical Gardens with our Zombie Display and have been invited all around the world.

I don’t doubt you already have a plethora of amazing displays but imagine for a moment being able to offer your guests a display of pumpkins that are so incredibly intricate that they stop a crowd and become the topic of conversation for the evening. It happens with my pumpkins all the time. Within 24 hours the world record pumpkin that I carved in New York had multiple uploads and suddenly my name was retrieving over a million results on Google. If you already have that high profile event with high expectations, I guarantee we can help you achieve meeting that goal. It’s a perfect association and a great “act” to sell.

I have a Facebook Fan Page ( and a website ( where you can see images or you can simply google my name.

Please take the time to look over our work. If you think this is a venture you would like to explore, I can be contacted at 888-592-3337. We are generally completely booked for the month of October by mid-May so if you are interested in a pumpkin event, you will have to act soon!

I look forward to hearing from you.
