Tattoo Rock Parlour

  • Location: 567 Queen Street West
  • Phone: 416.703.5488
  • Description: Spacious and edgy with maverick touches, Tattoo Rock Parlour will amuse the senses of even the most bona fide rock star. The new space marks the city’s only LIVE rock n’ roll and DJ venue, equipped with a resident tattoo shop.
The tattoo art comes courtesy of Black Line Studios, a tattoo parlour better described as an art gallery. The storefront space is glass enclosed, and slightly visible from the street, giving the space a bit of a voyeur feel. Rotating guest artists will be brought in on a monthly basis to add spice to the core Black Line team. The satellite space will provide the best of tattoo and body piercing as well as unique jewelry and apparel.
Musically, live acts will take the stage most nights during the week, and DJ’s spinning Rock n’ Roll will fill in the gaps in the rest of the week. The music ranges from Alternative, Rock, Classic Rock and Punk Rock.

If you’re tempted to rock n’ roll all night, you can boost your energy with nibbles from the kitchen. The menu comes courtesy of Ultra Supper Club, executive Chef, Chris Zilewski, and is straightforward North American chow. Ranging from light (salads, crispy calamari) to latino (nachos, oven baked quesadillas) to classic (Chicken wings, foot long hot dog, burgers, Macaroni and cheese, Fish and chips) to heavy (baby back ribs, steamed Mussels, fried chicken, Striploin Steak, Shrimp). Completing the menu is a selection of sweets including cotton candy, root beer floats and hot fudge Sundays.

The venue comes courtesy of a joint venture between the city’s leading entertainment aficionados, INK’s Charles Khabouth (The Guvernment and Kool Haus Entertainment Complex, Ultra Supper Club, This is London, Dragonfly, St. Louis, and The Beatles Revolution Lounge; located inside The Mirage, Las Vegas; ; and Liberty Entertainment GroupÂ’s Nick Di Donato (Liberty Grand, Casa Loma, Rosewater Supper Club, Live@Courthouse, Rosewater Room, C Lounge, Velvet Underground, Phoenix Concert Theatre).
