When the leaves begin to change color and the temperature starts getting a little cooler, it doesn t mean that Autumn is upon us, it just means that we re that much closer to Halloween. It s the one night of the year when we can act out of character and dress up as someone that we admire or fear. New York City s known to be THE destination for all of the major holidays and that s certainly the case when Halloween rolls around.

With so many nightlife destinations hosting epic parties on this night, it s tough to find the event that s right for you. But rather than sticking to the same bars, lounges, and nightclubs that will most likely be incredibly crowded, why not opt for a mobile venue that will get you the best views that Manhattan has to offer from the outside in? This year, Halloween Goes Hollywood aboard the Audubon Yacht, and everyone s caught on to the entertainment that this yacht will have to offer on Halloween.

Featuring a live DJ and cash bar to get your favorite cocktails, this event presented by HalloweenCruises will take place on Halloween night! Most of the Halloween parties in the city will be taking place the weekend prior, since it happens to fall on a Wednesday this year. But if you re looking to maximize your Halloween experience on this night, here s the event for you.

One Response to Halloween Aboard The Audubon

  1. Ray Villafane on February 19, 2013 at 123AM

My name is Ray Villafane and I am the Lead Sculptor for Villafane Studios. My day job started as making high end collectibles for the likes of DC Comics, Marvel and McFarlane Toys to name a few but has since evolved to being famously known for my pumpkins and sand sculptures. You may have seen some of my work, whether it was through a viral email, in print or on television. I’ve been the Champion twice on the Food Network’s Challenge Show “Outrageous Pumpkins” and was featured in the first season of the mini-series, Halloween Wars. I’ve been fortunate to gather a global following of my work which has lead to personally carving for Heidi Klum’s Annual Halloween Party, sculpting zombies out of the World Record Pumpkin at New York City’s Botanical Gardens and being a guest pumpkin carver at the White House. 2011 was my first year of appearances centered around my pumpkin carvings and I was booked the entire month of October. I am also under Contract with the New York Botanical Gardens and the City of New York in which my pumpkin carvings will be the premise of an annual event for the next several years in New York City. I haven’t had to make much effort to get my work across the globe but now that its reached that far, I’m excited to keep it going. Due to the increased popularity of my work, I have now assembled a phenomenal team of artisans who are of the same caliber of artist that I am. In the fall of 2012 we drew record attendance to New York Botanical Gardens with our Zombie Display and have been invited all around the world.

I don’t doubt you already have a plethora of amazing displays but imagine for a moment being able to offer your guests a display of pumpkins that are so incredibly intricate that they stop a crowd and become the topic of conversation for the evening. It happens with my pumpkins all the time. Within 24 hours the world record pumpkin that I carved in New York had multiple uploads and suddenly my name was retrieving over a million results on Google. If you already have that high profile event with high expectations, I guarantee we can help you achieve meeting that goal. It’s a perfect association and a great “act” to sell.

I have a Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/VillafaneStudios) and a website (www.villafanestudios.com) where you can see images or you can simply google my name.

Please take the time to look over our work. If you think this is a venture you would like to explore, I can be contacted at 888-592-3337. We are generally completely booked for the month of October by mid-May so if you are interested in a pumpkin event, you will have to act soon!

I look forward to hearing from you.
