  • Description: Brandy Library is the perfect spot to unwind after work, whet your appetite before dinner, spend an evening wining and dining, have dessert and a cognac, or have the time of your life after everyone else has gone to bed. You’ll find us well-stocked and willing, 7 days, 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

If you can find it nowhere else, you’ll find that rare spirit, say, a 1945 Darroze armagnac, Pierre Ferrand cognac 1914, or a Springbank 1969 single malt at the Library, as our collection amasses more than 900 bottles. Oh, and a menu of 100 signature and classic cocktails, carefully chosen wines (still and sparkling) and beers, and a decadent selection of hors d’oeuvres. Who says you can’t please everyone?

Our cuisine is decadent indeed, hot, cold, sweet, savory, and all-encompassing. Where else can you get Malai Tikka, house Cognac-cured foie gras, creme brulee, fresh eclairs, or warm chocolate cake with a molten center, and more, at 4 in the morning?

Doctors say that feeling “choiceful” is the key to good mental health, but if having too many options makes you anxious, fear not! With our Spirit School you’ll become an expert in no time. Like many industry professionals before you, you’ll taste some of the finest elixirs on the planet, and learn all about the who, what, when, where, why and how. Pretty soon, you’ll be the one choosing for your friends.

Brandy Library also boasts its own Spirit Sommelier, who not only can help you select an exquisite libation worthy of your hard-earned money, but can also tell you about the colorful history and the painstaking craftsmanship you’re sipping.

You’ll be able to have conversation like grown-ups and escape the ubiquitous drone of ambient music, as we like to play jazz on our ipod, and no, we don’t mean Kenny G. If you like it live, join us on Monday nights when we feature Joel Forrester on piano, 8-midnight, or on Sundays, come and listen to Daniel Rouleau’s guitar and Saxophone duo, 8-11 p.m.

Get more than you paid for at the Library! Meet distillers and taste their wares on Tasting Fridays, and sample our finest and newest Scotches on Single Malt Saturdays, free of charge.

As if food, drink, and conversation weren’t interesting enough, we also have an extensive library of books on hand should you want to study further on the subject of spirits. Help yourself to one while you indulge in one of our tasting flights, say the Highland Hike or The the Vintage Collection in Armagnac, to enhance your experience and become a real know-it-all.
